Publicatii rusesti au relatat marti despre nori de fum negru deasupra aerodromului militar din satul Hvardiiske, districtul Simferopol din Crimeea ocupata de Rusia.
Christo Grozev, redactorul sef al platfornei de investigatii Bellingcat, a difuzat o stire publicata de Kommersant in care localnicii din Hvardiiske afirma ca ca deasupra bazei aeriene din zona se vad nori de fum negru.
Potrivit acestora, mai multe explozii au fost auzite pe teritoriul bazei militare.

Potrivit Kommersant, departamentele militare locale presupun ca ar putea fi vorba de un atac al unui mic vehicul aerian fara pilot care a lovit un depozit de munitii.
Grozev sustine ca 12 avioane SU-24M si 12 SU-25SM se aflau la baza aeriana. Aerodromul face parte din Fortele Navale Ruse.
De la linia frontului pana la Simferopol sunt peste 200 de km.
